Size
Match the footprint to the space you're assigned. Most vendor rows, festival stalls, and tailgate slots are sized for a 10×10. Go 10×20 when you need a double booth or a sponsor anchor that reads from across an open lot.
How Often You Set Up
A 40mm hex frame is the standard call for weekly use — farmers markets, sidelines, school fundraisers. Step up to 50mm for daily commercial use or programs touring five-plus days a week.
Weather & Wind
Every pop up tent needs anchoring outdoors. Our 50mm frame, anchored with sandbags, ground spikes, or tie-down ropes, is rated for winds up to 50 mph. Coastal, beachfront, and open-lot venues should always ship with anchors.
Setup Time & Crew
A 10×10 goes up with one person in under five minutes. A 10×20 takes two people, still under five minutes. If you're often setting up alone, that decides the size.
Portability

How to Set Up a Pop Up Tent
For a 10×10 or 10×20 canopy on a hex aluminum frame.
- 01
Pick and clear the spot
Choose level ground and clear rocks and debris. Roll the trolley bag to the site and stand the collapsed frame upright in the middle of the footprint.
- 02
Open the frame partway
Grab the frame at opposite sides and walk it outward until the truss is partly open. One person can do this on a 10×10; use two people on opposite sides for a 10×20.

Attach the canopy top
Drape the canopy over the frame and secure it at the corners with the velcro and zip clips while the frame is still low enough to reach.

Fully extend and raise the legs
Finish expanding the frame until the sliders lock at the top of each leg, then raise the legs to the height you want.

Anchor it and add walls
Anchor every leg with sandbags, ground spikes, or tie-down ropes before the wind picks up. Zip sidewalls or half-walls on at the eave and velcro them at the legs.
Packing It Back Down
- Remove the walls and anchors first.
- Lower the legs, release the sliders, and walk the frame closed from opposite sides.
- Take the canopy off if you store it separately, and let it dry completely before it goes in the bag for storage.
- Roll the closed frame into the trolley bag with the canopy and walls.
